Inside Unix computing, IceWM is a window manager for the X Window System graphical infrastructure, written by Marko Maček. It was coded from either scratch around C++ and is released under a terms of the GNU Library General Public License. These are comparatively lightweight within terms of memory & CPU usage, & accompany themes that allow it to imitate a UI of Windows 95, OS/2, Motif, and more graphical user interfaces.
A primary aim of the IceWM plan is to have a window manager which has a "good" look & sense & is, at a equivalent period, lightweight.
IceWM may be configured from either obviously document stored around the user's home directory, making it easy to customize & copy settings. IceWM has an optional, built-constitutional taskbar by using menu, tasks display, network & CPU meters, mail prevent & configurable clock. Official trend lines for GNOME and KDE menus are available as a separate pack. External graphic software online for editing configuration & menu survive.
